| Description: | 2-year, part-time position working 20 hours per week. 10-month position (August-May). Member of Project Management Team in conjunction with a United States Department of Education grant. Assists with the implementation of all school-based and community outreach initiatives, as well as collaborates on the internal evaluation of the project. |
| Duties: | 1. Serves as liaison between college personnel and Dubuque Community Schools/Holy Family Schools. 2. Develops leadership teams within identified schools. 3. Collaborates with project team to plan professional development programs. 4. Assists in coordinating after-school literacy programs involving theater. 5. Assists in coordinating event literacy programs involving family book clubs. |
| Qualifications: | Master's Degree in Education. 4-10 years related experience in elementary classrooms. Strong interest in promoting literacy. Current Iowa Teaching certificate. |
